For Annette and Diego, it all started during one unforgettable summer in Puerto Rico.
Diego was visiting the island for the first time when he attended a party with friends. Annette almost didn't go that night, but sometimes the smallest decisions can change everything.
That evening, they met.
Annette was immediately drawn to Diego's Spanish accent, and after spending the night talking and dancing together, a beautiful connection began.
Neither of them could have imagined where that summer would eventually lead.
A Love Story Between Puerto Rico and Spain
After getting to know each other, Diego eventually returned to Spain.
But their connection was too special to simply become a summer memory.
Annette later decided to move to Madrid as an exchange student at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, giving their relationship the opportunity to grow.
On February 17, 2011, they officially began their journey together.
For years, they navigated the challenges of a long-distance relationship between Puerto Rico and Spain, knowing that their love was worth every mile.
Then, during Christmas of 2016, Diego proposed in a place that already held special meaning for them.

Their wedding day brought their story back to Puerto Rico.
The day began at the iconic Condado Vanderbilt Hotel, where Annette and Diego prepared for the celebration ahead.
From there, they traveled to one of the most historic and meaningful locations in the city: the Catedral Basilica Menor de San Juan Bautista.
Surrounded by family and friends, Annette and Diego exchanged their vows in a ceremony filled with emotion.
It was a beautiful moment.
After a love story that had crossed the Atlantic Ocean, they were finally standing together at the altar.

The result was an elegant celebration where the design enhanced the venue without taking away from its natural character.
NDF Films was also there to preserve the day through film, while Raymond Limousine provided transportation throughout the celebration.
