Some destinations become part of a love story long before the wedding day.
For Jenny and Nick, that place was Copamarina Beach Resort in Guánica, Puerto Rico.
After finding the resort online, they traveled from the United States to experience Copamarina for themselves. During that trip, Nick surprised Jenny with a marriage proposal.
They fell in love with the resort—and soon knew it was where they wanted to get married.
A Destination Worth Returning To
Jenny and Nick's story came full circle when they returned to Puerto Rico to celebrate their destination wedding at Copamarina Beach Resort.
After eight years together, they exchanged their vows surrounded by family, friends, and the beautiful oceanfront scenery of Puerto Rico's southern coast.
Their wedding was personal, relaxed, and filled with meaningful details—including décor created by the couple themselves.
A Celebration in Paradise
With Liliana Pietri Vivo and the Copamarina team helping bring their celebration together, Jenny and Nick created a beautiful destination wedding experience.
Their vendor team included Dulces Perlas for their cake and cookies, DJ Gerry Lios for the celebration, and Abdiel Rodríguez for Jenny's hair and makeup.
Jason Dennett officiated their ceremony, while Dwayne Lee Photography joined me as second shooter and AirlensPR captured aerial images of their beautiful celebration.
But what made this wedding truly special was the connection between their story and the destination they chose.
A simple search brought them to Puerto Rico.
A visit to Copamarina became a proposal.
And eventually, they returned to say “I do.”
