A honeymoon is more than a vacation.


It's the beginning of a new chapter.


A chance to slow down, explore a new destination, and celebrate the adventure of being together.


During their visit to Puerto Rico from Ecuador, Paola and Alber spent part of their trip at Copamarina Beach Resort & Spa in Guánica.


And that's where we met.


What began as a spontaneous opportunity for a photo session quickly became one of the most fun and natural sessions I have photographed.


A Spontaneous Photo Session in Puerto Rico


I was already at Copamarina preparing for another photo session when I unexpectedly ran into my good friend and professional makeup artist, Nicole Rodz.


During our conversation, she introduced me to Paola.


Before long, we were talking about the possibility of creating a photo session that afternoon.


Of course, my answer was yes.


Paola and Alber were visiting Puerto Rico and enjoying their time together, making the beautiful surroundings of Copamarina the perfect setting to capture a few memories from their trip.


Natural, Fun and Completely Themselves


Some couples need a little direction during a photo session.


Paola and Alber were different.


Their connection was natural.


Their energy was contagious.


And they made the entire experience incredibly fun.


I barely had to give them instructions.


They laughed, enjoyed the moment, and simply focused on being together.


Those are often the moments that create the best photographs.


Not the perfectly planned poses.


But the genuine smiles, laughter, and connection between two people.


A Honeymoon to Remember


Travel gives us memories.


Photography helps us preserve them.


For Paola and Alber, this session became part of their experience in Puerto Rico.


A reminder of their time together.


The destination they explored.


And a beautiful chapter in their story.


It was a pleasure meeting them and documenting their time at Copamarina Beach Resort in Guánica.


Because sometimes, the best photographs aren't planned months in advance.


Sometimes, they simply happen when you're in a beautiful place with the person you love.
