Nora and Allan celebrated their wedding day at Costa Caribe Golf & Country Club in Ponce, Puerto Rico, surrounded by family, friends, tropical scenery, and the Caribbean Sea.
Their wedding brought together everything that makes a Puerto Rico destination wedding memorable: an elegant getting-ready experience at the Ponce Hilton, a beautiful coastal ceremony at Costa Caribe, vibrant tropical florals, live music, and a lively reception at the Hilton Ponce Golf & Casino Resort.
As a wedding photographer in Ponce, Puerto Rico, I had the opportunity to document their day from the quiet anticipation of the morning to the energy and emotion of their celebration that evening.
Getting Ready at the Ponce Hilton
Nora began her wedding day at the Ponce Hilton Hotel, surrounded by her bridesmaids and closest friends and family.
The morning was filled with laughter, excitement, and all the small details that make a wedding day feel personal. The team at ZG Studio worked on Nora's hair and makeup while she prepared for her ceremony.
Her colorful bridal bouquet, wedding invitations, personalized details, and elegant Pronovias gown were all part of the story of the morning.
Meanwhile, Allan prepared for the ceremony at home, getting ready for the moment he would finally see Nora walking down the aisle.
These quiet moments before the ceremony are some of my favorite parts of a wedding day to photograph. They allow me to document the anticipation, relationships, and details that might otherwise be forgotten.
A Coastal Wedding Ceremony at Costa Caribe
The ceremony took place at Costa Caribe Golf & Country Club in Ponce, Puerto Rico.
With the Caribbean Sea, tropical landscape, and palm trees surrounding the venue, Costa Caribe provided a beautiful setting for their outdoor wedding ceremony.
Nora walked down the aisle wearing a Pronovias wedding gown and carrying a vibrant bouquet designed by Azio Floral Events Design. The colorful florals added a beautiful contrast to the tropical surroundings and created a distinctive visual style throughout the ceremony.
From the processional to the exchange of vows and their first kiss as husband and wife, the ceremony was filled with meaningful moments between Nora and Allan and the people closest to them.
The outdoor setting also gave us the opportunity to create portraits of the couple and their wedding party surrounded by the natural beauty of the Costa Caribe property.
Wedding Portraits at Costa Caribe
One of the highlights of photographing a wedding at Costa Caribe is the variety of backgrounds available throughout the property.
The tropical landscape, palm trees, pool area, and views toward the Caribbean create opportunities for both classic portraits and more relaxed, candid photographs.
After the ceremony, Nora and Allan took some time together for portraits. These photographs allowed them to step away from the celebration for a few minutes and enjoy the excitement of officially becoming husband and wife.
Their colorful flowers, elegant attire, and the tropical setting created a timeless collection of wedding portraits that reflected the atmosphere of their day.
Wedding Details That Made the Day Personal
Every wedding has details that tell the couple's story, and Nora and Allan's celebration was filled with them.
From the colorful floral arrangements and personalized wedding stationery to the custom wedding jewelry created by José Echevarría Diseñador, every element was thoughtfully selected.
The wedding cake by Rosangeles Banchs was another beautiful part of the reception, combining an elegant presentation with a memorable dessert for the couple and their guests.
These details are important to photograph because they become part of the visual history of the wedding day.
A Celebration at Hilton Ponce Golf & Casino Resort
After the ceremony at Costa Caribe, the celebration continued at the Hilton Ponce Golf & Casino Resort.
The reception was coordinated by Germaine Quiñones, who helped bring together the many details of the evening.
The reception space featured elegant tables, tropical-inspired floral arrangements, personalized details, and a beautiful wedding cake created by Rosangeles Banchs.
The couple also incorporated custom design elements created by Nora herself. Beyond being the bride, Nora played an important role in designing the graphic elements of the wedding, adding another personal layer to the celebration.
Live Music and Entertainment
Music was an important part of Nora and Allan's wedding celebration.
During the cocktail hour, guests enjoyed the acoustic music of Antonio F. Rivera – AQ'sTIKO, creating a relaxed atmosphere as everyone gathered following the ceremony.
During dinner, guests were treated to music by Ricky Laureano, guitarist from Fiel a la Vega.
Later in the evening, Grupo Zona Cero brought even more energy to the reception and kept the celebration moving onto the dance floor.
Jafet Serrano also provided beautiful musical accompaniment during the ceremony, adding an emotional element to the wedding experience.
Documenting Nora & Allan's Wedding Day
Photographing a wedding is about more than documenting the major events.
It is about preserving the small moments that happen between them: a bride laughing with her bridesmaids, a father's reaction when he sees his daughter, the excitement of the wedding party, the way a couple looks at each other when no one else is watching, and the energy of the dance floor.
For Nora and Allan, their wedding day brought together the people, places, and details that mattered most to them.
