Some photo sessions take you outside your comfort zone.


Others take you underwater.


For Yollian and Christian, their Love Story became a creative underwater photography experience unlike any traditional engagement session.


Set in Ponce, Puerto Rico, we spent the day experimenting with movement, light, color, and the challenge of creating photographs beneath the water.


At first, coordinating every movement underwater wasn't easy.


But after a little practice, Yollian and Christian quickly became naturals.


One of my favorite details was the beautiful contrast between Yollian's red dress and the deep blue water.


The result was a collection of images that felt romantic, creative, and completely different.


This session remains one of those experiences that reminds me why I love photography.


Sometimes, the best ideas begin with a simple question:
